Learn Skills Required to Pass State Board Exams
High-quality education system for aspiring barbers. Our students are equipped with the skills required to pass the state board exams and secure employment in their field of study. We are passionate about establishing a solid educational foundation that prioritizes excellence and puts people first.
The curriculum involves 1500 hours to satisfy Minnesota state requirements. The program includes extensive instruction and practical experience in men’s cutting, color, texture, men’s grooming, customer service, personal appearance and hygiene, personal motivation and development, retail (Take Home) skills, guest record-keeping, and business ethics, sanitation, state laws and regulations, salon- type administration, and job interviewing.
Students are prepared to be entry-level barber.

Barber Hussle the School is independently owned and operated by Barber Maurice Burson of St. Cloud, Minnesota. As the founder of a respected barbershop known for its quality and care, Maurice brings years of hands-on experience, leadership, and community commitment into the classroom. He is passionate about running a sustainable, eco-friendly organization that not only shapes professionals but also gives back. A portion of the school’s earnings is donated to five local charities, reinforcing our belief that real success is measured by how much you uplift others.
